About
I'm Jake — based in West Lancashire, shooting small weddings and elopements for couples who want a real record of their day rather than a highlight reel.
I've been shooting for seven years, and weddings suit how I work. Every one is different, nothing repeats, and the moments that matter most tend to happen when nobody's paying attention. Getting those right — that's what I'm there for.
My approach is documentary first. I follow the day as it unfolds, stay out of the way, and photograph what's actually happening. If you want a portrait session, I build one in — but I won't spend your day arranging you. Small weddings suit this particularly well. Fewer people means more room to breathe, and more of the day actually makes it into the photos.
